What we make most days, and what it costs. The bread changes a little with the season, so if you're coming for something specific, WhatsApp us first.

Bread

Whole loaves. We'll slice any loaf for you at the counter.

  • Country sourdoughS$9.50

    White and wholemeal, 36-hour ferment. About 800g.

  • Seeded ryeS$11.00

    Dense and moist, with sunflower, pumpkin and flax seeds.

  • Pandan milk loafS$8.00

    Soft, pale green and lightly sweet. Very good toasted.

  • BaguetteS$4.50

    From 11am, Tuesday to Saturday.

Buns and small bakes

Best before 2pm. Anything left at closing goes to the Tiong Bahru community fridge.

    Pandan kaya and cold butter in a milk bun.

  • Kaya butter croissantS$4.50

    Weekends only.

  • Hae bee hiam scrollS$3.80

    Spicy dried-shrimp sambal rolled into soft dough. Contains shellfish.

  • Gula melaka banana breadS$4.00

    By the thick slice.

  • Sourdough focacciaS$5.50

    Topping changes daily. Usually tomato and rosemary.

Whole cakes

To order, with three days' notice. Prices for 6-inch / 8-inch. Slices of one or two of these are usually on the counter.

    Caramelised top, soft middle. Our best seller for birthdays.

    Made with sourdough starter for a slight tang. Dark chocolate ganache.

  • Orange and almond cakeS$48 / S$68

    Flourless and gluten-free, though made in a kitchen that uses wheat.

Drinks

Kopi and teh made the old way, in a cloth sock.

Sourdough sells out by about noon on weekends. WhatsApp us by 9pm the night before and we'll hold a loaf for you until 2pm.

We don't use pork or lard, but we're not halal-certified. Ask at the counter about nuts, eggs and dairy in anything you're unsure of.
