Physiotherapy in Novena for sore backs, injured knees and everything after surgery
Align Physio is a small clinic on Thomson Road. Every session is one-to-one with a registered physiotherapist, and your first visit includes a full assessment and a written plan you can take home.
No referral neededYou can book directly. If you have a doctor's or surgeon's letter, bring it along.
What we treat
Most people come to us with one of four things. If yours isn't listed, call or WhatsApp us and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right clinic.
-
Sports injury rehab
Sprained ankles, runner's knee, tennis elbow, hamstring strains and shoulder problems from gym or racquet sports. We get you moving again and plan a sensible return to training.
-
Back and neck pain
Stiff necks from long days at the desk, lower back pain, sciatica and headaches that start in the neck. Hands-on treatment plus exercises that fit into a working day.
-
Post-surgery rehab
ACL reconstruction, knee and hip replacements, shoulder repairs and spinal surgery. We follow your surgeon's protocol and keep them updated if you'd like us to.
-
Clinical pilates
Pilates run by physiotherapists, using reformer and mat work. Good for recurring back pain, recovery after pregnancy, and anyone who wants to keep an old injury from coming back.
Your first visit
An initial session is 60 minutes. Wear clothes you can move in; shorts are useful for knee and hip problems.
-
First 15 minutes
We listen
What happened, what makes it worse, what you need to get back to. Bring any scans or reports you have.
-
Next 15 minutes
We assess
Movement, strength and joint tests to work out what's actually causing the pain, explained as we go.
-
Next 20 minutes
We treat
Hands-on treatment where it helps, and two or three exercises to start with. Not a sheet of twenty.
-
Last 10 minutes
We plan
How many sessions we expect you'll need, what to do at home, and a written summary sent to your email.
Prices
Prices include GST. We don't sell packages upfront: you pay per session and can stop whenever you like.
We issue itemised receipts with your physiotherapist's registration number for claims under most corporate and personal insurance plans.

I'd had a sore lower back on and off for three years and assumed it was just part of sitting at a desk. Wei Ming found that my hips were doing almost nothing. Six sessions and a lot of homework later, I can sit through a full day of meetings without thinking about it.
